Oradea Transport Local S.A., through the Auto Driving School, organizes training courses in order to obtain categories D (bus) and TV (tram) on the driver's license.
The conditions to attend the courses organized by OTL S.A. are the following:
- The minimum age for registration is 24 years old, completed, for the TV category
- It is not mandatory to have a driving license to obtain the TV category
- For category D, it is mandatory to have a driver's license for category B
Tuition fees:
- For category D
- for driving license holders, Category B - 6,601.00 lei*
- for driving license holders, Category C+E, less than one year – 4,500.00 lei*
- for driving license holders, Category C+E more than one year – 3,601.00 lei*
- For category TV
- 10,455.00 lei*
*All specified prices include VAT.
Documents required in the pre-registration phase:
A written request will be submitted to the company's office (Oradea, Atelierelor str., no. 12) in which will be specified the intention to enroll in the courses organized by the Driving School, in order to obtain the TV / D category on the driver's license, will be specified, a CV (Curriculum Vitae) to which the following documents will be attached, in copy:
- ID card
- Driver's license (if you have it - in the case of the TV category and mandatory - in the case of the D category)
- Diploma of Studies

Tuition program for the TV category
- According to the Order of the Minister of Transport no. 733/2013:
- minimum 122 hours of theory of which:
- 14 hours of Traffic Law
- 56 hours of Specific Legislation
- 16 hours of Preventive and Ecological Driving
- 6 hours of First Aid
- 30 hours of Vehicle Knowledge and Maintenance
- 60 hours of practical training covering at least 600 kilometers
Schooling program category D
- According to the Order of the Minister of Transport no. 733/2013:
- for driving license holders, Category B
- 14 hours of Traffic Law
- 10 hours of Specific Legislation
- 22 hours of Preventive and Ecological Driving
- 6 hours of First Aid
- 20 hours of Vehicle Knowledge and Maintenance
- covering 350 kilometers
- for driving license holders, Category C+E, less than one year
- 10 hours of Traffic Law
- 5 hours of Specific Legislation
- 15 hours of Preventive and Ecological Driving
- 6 hours of First Aid
- 10 hours of Vehicle Knowledge and Maintenance
- 25 hours of practice, covering 200 kilometers
- for driving license holders, Category C+E for more than one year
- 10 hours of Traffic Law
- 5 hours of Specific Legislation
- 15 hours of Preventive and Ecological Driving
- 6 hours of First Aid
- 10 hours of Vehicle Knowledge and Maintenance
- 20 hours of practice, covering 150 kilometers
People who provide proof of graduation from a technical higher education institution, majoring in "Road Vehicles", will be exempted from attending courses in the discipline "Knowledge and maintenance of motor vehicles"
People who prove that they are qualified medical staff, or are graduates of a higher education institution, long-term courses, will be exempted from attending the "First Aid" courses.
